Yaesu Digital Repeater and Wires-X HRI-200 unit installed in Hot Springs

Two Yaesu Repeaters DR-1X have been installed in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Another Digital Repeater has been installed in Hot Springs, Arkansas. All repeaters are in Auto mode (Analog/Digital)​

The new digital repeaters are made by Yaesu, model DR1-X. The units will handle both analog and digital formats.

The Yaesu HRI-200 Wires-X unit connects a ham radio data port to the Internet using a Windows computer, the software is free from Yaesu and the Wires-X is assign a control number on their server.  Below is a copy of my screen running on a Windows 10 tablet and connected to the Wires-X unit and my FT1500 Yaesu radio.  Each line is a room that I can connect to so as to have a conversation with them using my 2 meter HT radio.  ​Yaesu Wires-X repeater is located in Hot Springs Arkansas near the HWY 70 East tied to room America-Link – in Hot Springs the Freq. 442.565 offset to 447.565. Running in Digital mode only.
